Wildlife photography is what I enjoy most.  It is perhaps the most challenging type of photography, since you have absolutely no control of your subject, which is often moving.  It takes skill, patience, tenacity, and a lot of luck!

American Alligators are a common around Ocala, Florida.  I like the setting this one was in.  The alligator and plants both look prehistoric.

I was looking for alligators in this spot.
This squirrel was kind enough to
tell me I was wasting my time.

This is a cormorant, a common diving bird in Florida. I shot this from a kayak. Many animals allow a small boat to come closer than a person on foot.

This young alligator had just emerged from
the water.  Notice how the skin is all wet
except the top of the head.

This is a diving bird called an Anhinga.
These birds dive and swim underwater and
spear small fish with their sharp beak.

This is an Osprey bringing a fish back to the nest.
This photo isn't as sharp as I'd like, but I may never
get another shot like this so I'm keeping it!
