My name is Sophie.  I was born at ShadoDancer Airedales just a few weeks after Bellona.  I moved into a home in Ocala and had a great time peeing on the floor and destroying things because that's what Airedale puppies are supposed to do. 

Unfortunately, my new family didn't understand this so I spent a lot of time confined in my crate.  I wasn't housebroken and I was hungry all the time. 

On Christmas day 2003, some people came to my house to visit.  They seemed familiar.  I guess this is because I met them when I was eight weeks old.

They visited for a few minutes then took me for a ride in their car.  I didn't know where I was going but everything is fun to a 1 year old Airedale so I just sat back and enjoyed the ride.  
 
Twenty minutes later we got out at a house that also seemed vaguely familiar.  This is me exploring the yard.  I'm a bit skinny.  I only weighed 31 pounds.  

There were lots of dog smells in the yard but I didn't see any dogs.
A few minutes later a real bossy little Airedale came out of the house.  Bellona and I chased each other all over the yard.  It was great to have some room to run and someone to play with!  

 

 

 

After I put Bellona in her place a big Airedale named Rita came out and told me not to play with her Frisbee.  I played with it anyway. 

I got to come in the house and got my first lesson in being a couch dog.  Bellona is telling me I'm doing it wrong but she thinks she knows everything.
 
 
We got to go to the Tennessee mountains for a whole week.  I got to run loose all over the woods.  Mom said this is called "vacation".  I thought I already was on vacation.

I never get bored here.  I can always find a place to play.  Here I am playing in the guest bathtub.  I've also been known to jump in the bathtub while someone was soaking in it. 

That was really fun!  I especially enjoyed the screaming.
